About The Cyber Media Show with Kim Bayne
From November 1997 to May 2000, Kim hosted "The Cyber Media Show with Kim Bayne," a syndicated public radio program offering an hour-long look at all things Internet. Segments included news, views and interviews -- Web tips and how-to advice, a hot topic or opinion piece, favorite Web sites, technology updates, and Internet news briefs. Industry experts, with diverse professional backgrounds, made guest appearances each week, in the studio or by telephone. There was an ongoing host and guest dialogue throughout the show. Listeners were invited to participate through e-mail, FAX and mail.

Distribution and Availability "The Cyber Media Show with Kim Bayne" reached more than two million radio listeners per week in over thirty markets. The program was syndicated internationally, airing on traditional broadcast radio in several major US cities, including New York, Philadelphia, Detroit, Atlanta, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, with border zone affiliates airing in Canada and Mexico. The program was broadcast on one transmitter and three signal translators in New Zealand on the 92 FM Network. "The Cyber Media Show with Kim Bayne" aired at individually scheduled times in each of the local markets.

The RealAudio edition of the program was uploaded Monday mornings for the air week listed. To our knowledge, these audio archives are no longer available.

Westwind was a licensed producer of programming and distributed recorded and live program feeds via the public radio satellite system and ABC/Capital Cities Distribution Hub.
